Day 1 - Moshi to Marangu Gate then to Mandara Hut
Distance: Approximately 90 km Height Gain: 700 meters Temperature: 15°C to 25°C Start your trek at the Marangu Gate, the entry point to Kilimanjaro National Park. The trail leads through dense rainforests, teeming with exotic flora and fauna. As you ascend to Mandara Hut, located at 2,700 meters, you will experience a shift in temperature and vegetation, marking the transition from the lush lower slopes to the alpine zone.

Day 2 - Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Distance: 11 km Height Gain: 1,000 meters Temperature: 10°C to 20°C Today’s journey takes you through the moorland, characterized by open landscapes and unique plant life adapted to the high altitudes. Horombo Hut, situated at 3,720 meters, offers panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and serves as a comfortable resting point before your ascent to Kibo Hut.

Day 3 - Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
Distance: 10 km Height Gain: 1,000 meters Temperature: 5°C to 15°C Ascending further, the landscape transforms into an alpine desert. The air thins, and the terrain becomes more challenging, preparing you for the ultimate summit attempt.

Day 4 - Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak Back to Horombo Hut

Negotiate the challenging terrain, overcoming steep slopes and glaciers to reach the iconic Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters. Arrive at the Marangu Gate, where you receive a certificate of achievement, a testament to your Kilimanjaro conquest.
