Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Moshi - Marangu gate – Mandara Hut
Begin the trek from Marangu gate, winding through the dense rainforest filled with exotic flora and fauna, arriving at Mandara Hut for the night. Geographical Description: Marangu gate sits at an elevation of 1860 meters, offering a transition from the lowland plains to the mountainous terrain. The rainforest is characterized by a rich biodiversity, showcasing unique plant and animal species.

Day 2 - Mandara hut – Horombo Hut
Ascend through the moorland, catching glimpses of the towering peak. Arrive at Horombo Hut, surrounded by vast landscapes and changing vegetation. Geographical Description: Horombo Hut, situated at approximately 3720 meters, offers stunning panoramic views. The moorland features hearty vegetation adapted to the higher altitude, including giant lobelias and senecios.

Day 3 - Horombo Hut – Kibo Hut
Venture into the alpine desert, navigating the challenging terrain to reach Kibo Hut, where the air thins, and the summit looms above. Geographical Description: Kibo Hut, perched at 4700 meters, marks the entry into the alpine desert. The landscape transforms into a rocky, otherworldly terrain, preparing climbers for the final ascent.

Day 4 - Kibo Hut – Uhuru Peak (summit point) - Back to Horombo Hut
Embark on the ultimate ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Revel in the accomplishment before descending to Horombo Hut. Geographical Description: Uhuru Peak, at an elevation of 5895 meters, provides breathtaking views of the glaciers and the vast African plains. The descent retraces the steps through the alpine desert and moorland.

Day 5 - Horombo Hut – Mandara Hut - Marangu gate - Back to Moshi/Arusha
Descend through the rainforest, concluding the journey at Marangu gate. Return to Moshi or Arusha, cherishing the memories of an extraordinary adventure. Geographical Description: The descent takes you back through the rainforest, offering a contrasting perspective of the landscapes experienced on the ascent.
