Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Moshi/Arusha to Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Start your trek at the Machame Gate, situated at an altitude of approximately 1,800 meters. The trail winds through lush rainforests, offering glimpses of unique flora and fauna. The Machame Camp, nestled at 3,000 meters, provides your first taste of high-altitude camping.

Day 2 - Machame Camp to Shira 2 Camp
Ascend through the moorland, reaching Shira 2 Camp at around 3,900 meters. The landscape transforms, showcasing vast expanses of heath and unique plant life. Marvel at the changing terrain and panoramic views.

Day 3 - Shira 2 Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
Ascend to the Lava Tower, standing at 4,600 meters, providing acclimatization. Descend to Barranco Camp at approximately 3,900 meters, passing through the picturesque Barranco Wall. Notice the shift in vegetation and temperature.

Day 4 - Barranco Camp to Karanga to Barafu Camp
Climb through the alpine desert, passing the Karanga Valley, and arrive at Barafu Camp (4,600 meters). Experience a noticeable drop in temperature as you prepare for the summit push.

Day 5 - Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Barafu Camp to Mweka Camp
Embark on the final ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters), the summit of Kilimanjaro. Descend to Barafu Camp before proceeding to Mweka Camp. The descent showcases the stark changes in vegetation, from the summit's icy terrain to the lushness of Mweka Camp at 3,100 meters.

Day 6 - Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate Back to Moshi
Complete the trek by descending to Mweka Gate. Witness the transition from heath to rainforest and bid farewell to the Kilimanjaro experience.
