Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Moshi – Rongai Gate – Simba Camp
Head to the Rongai Gate, the starting point of our trek. Traverse through lush rainforests, witnessing diverse vegetation and wildlife. The altitude increases, offering breathtaking views as you reach Simba Camp. Temperature: 20°C, Altitude: 2,650 meters.
Accommodation: Simba Campsite
Day 2 - Simba Camp – Second Cave
As you ascend, notice the transition from rainforest to heathland. Witness unique flora adapted to higher altitudes. Temperature drops slightly. Distance: 15 km, Altitude: 3,450 meters.

Day 3 - Second Cave– Third Cave
Cross expansive moorlands with varying temperatures. Marvel at the panoramic views of the Kibo Massif and Mawenzi peaks. Acclimatization is crucial. Distance: 10 km, Altitude: 3,870 meters.
Accommodation: Third Cave Campsite
Day 4 - Third Cave – Kibo Hut
Enter the lunar-like landscape of the Saddle, bridging the peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo. Feel the challenge as you approach the final ascent. Temperature: 0°C, Altitude: 4,700 meters.

Day 5 - Kibo Hut – Uhuru Peak - Back to Horombo Hut
The summit day begins with a challenging ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Experience the exhilaration of standing on the Roof of Africa. Descend to Horombo Hut, reflecting on your accomplishment. Temperature: -10°C to 20°C, Altitude: 5,895 meters.

Day 6 - Horombo Hut - Mandara Hut - Marangu Gate - Back to Moshi/Arusha
Descend through moorlands and rainforests, savoring the memories of your triumph. Reach the Marangu Gate and transfer back to Moshi/Arusha. Celebrate your achievement with a sense of accomplishment.
