Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Moshi/Arusha to Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Commence the trek at Machame Gate, located at an altitude of approximately 1,800 meters. Traverse through lush rainforests, witnessing an array of vibrant flora and occasional wildlife. The trek covers around 18 kilometers.
Accommodation: Machame Campsite
Day 2 - Machame Camp to Shira 2 Camp
Ascend through the moorland, reaching Shira 2 Camp at an elevation of about 3,900 meters. Witness the transition in vegetation and terrain while covering a distance of around 10 kilometers.
Accommodation: Shira Cave Campsite
Day 3 - Shira 2 Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
Hike to Lava Tower (4,600 meters) for acclimatization, then descend to Barranco Camp (3,900 meters) via the picturesque Barranco Wall. Experience temperature fluctuations and a distance of approximately 10 kilometers.

Day 4 - Barranco Camp to Karanga to Barafu Camp
Trek through the alpine desert, passing Karanga Valley en route to Barafu Camp (4,600 meters). Notice the temperature drop and the changing landscape, covering around 9 kilometers.

Day 5 - Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak descend up to Barafu Camp then back to Mweka Camp
Embark on the final ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters), conquering the summit. Descend to Barafu Camp before proceeding to Mweka Camp (3,100 meters), observing drastic vegetation changes and covering approximately 15 kilometers.

Day 6 - Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate Back to Moshi
Descend to Mweka Gate, marking the end of the trek. Witness the shift from moorland to rainforest and bid farewell to the Kilimanjaro adventure.
