Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Moshi/Arusha to Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Start your trek at the Machame Gate, located at approximately 1,800 meters above sea level. The day's hike takes you through the dense Machame rainforest, revealing unique flora and fauna. As you ascend, the temperature gradually drops, creating a refreshing atmosphere at the Machame Camp, situated at around 3,000 meters.

Day 2 - Machame Camp to Shira 2 Camp
Leave the rainforest behind and venture into the heath and moorland zones. The Shira 2 Camp, at an elevation of about 3,850 meters, offers panoramic views of the Shira Plateau. Witness the landscape transform as you gain altitude, with the distant vistas of the plains below.

Day 3 - Shira 2 Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
Ascend to the Lava Tower, a volcanic rock formation standing at 4,600 meters, providing a unique perspective of the mountain. Descend to the Barranco Camp, nestled in the scenic Barranco Valley at approximately 3,960 meters. The diverse terrain showcases Kilimanjaro's geological wonders.

Day 4 - Barranco Camp to Karanga to Barafu Camp
Navigate the Barranco Wall, a challenging yet exhilarating climb. Traverse the Karanga Valley, surrounded by alpine desert landscapes. Reach the Barafu Camp at an altitude of 4,600 meters, preparing for the final ascent to Uhuru Peak.

Day 5 - Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak (Summit) Back to Barafu Camp, then to Mweka Camp:
Begin the summit push in the early hours, conquering Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters. Marvel at the sunrise over Africa from the highest point. Descend to Barafu Camp before proceeding to Mweka Camp, situated at around 3,100 meters, surrounded by lush vegetation.

Day 6 - Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate Back to Moshi
Descend through the enchanting rainforest to the Mweka Gate, concluding your Kilimanjaro adventure. Transfer back to Moshi, reflecting on the incredible journey.
