Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Moshi/Arusha to Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Commence your trek at the Machame Gate, situated at approximately 1,800 meters above sea level. The trail winds through lush rainforests, showcasing an array of unique flora and fauna. Reach Machame Camp at an altitude of 3,000 meters, providing the first taste of high-altitude camping.

Day 2 - Machame Camp to Shira 2 Camp
Ascend through the moorland, reaching Shira 2 Camp at around 3,900 meters. The landscape transforms, offering expansive views of heath and distinctive plant life characteristic of this altitude.

Day 3 - Shira 2 Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
Ascend further to the Lava Tower, standing tall at 4,600 meters, facilitating acclimatization. Descend to Barranco Camp at approximately 3,900 meters, passing through the picturesque Barranco Wall. Notice the striking shifts in vegetation and temperature.

Day 4 - Barranco Camp to Karanga to Barafu Camp
Ascend through the alpine desert, passing the Karanga Valley, and arrive at Barafu Camp (4,600 meters). Experience significantly colder temperatures as you prepare for the final push to the summit.

Day 5 - Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak back to Barafu Camp then to Mweka Camp
Embark on the summit push to Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters), the highest point in Africa. Descend to Barafu Camp before proceeding to Mweka Camp, witnessing the stark vegetation changes from the summit's icy terrain to the lushness of Mweka Camp at 3,100 meters.

Day 6 - Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate Back to Moshi
Complete the trek by descending to Mweka Gate. Observe the transition from alpine zones to the vibrant rainforest, concluding your unforgettable Kilimanjaro experience.
