Day 1 - Moshito Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
Geographical Description: Departing from Moshi, the journey to Marangu Gate introduces you to the base of Kilimanjaro. The trail passes through verdant rainforests with diverse vegetation, including towering trees and vibrant flora. The ascent leads to Mandara Hut, situated at approximately 2,700 meters above sea level, offering cooler temperatures and panoramic views.

Day 2 - Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Geographical Description: Ascending further, the trail continues through moorland, characterized by low shrubs and unique alpine vegetation. Horombo Hut, nestled at around 3,720 meters, provides a spectacular vantage point showcasing the vastness of the surrounding landscape and the changing ecosystems.

Day 3 - Horombo Hut ro Mawenzi Back to Horombo Hut (full day Acclimatization Day)
Geographical Description: A day dedicated to acclimatization takes you on an exploration towards Mawenzi, offering stunning panoramic views and allowing trekkers to adjust to the altitude. The landscape transitions to rocky terrain, with the looming presence of Mawenzi, the second highest peak of Kilimanjaro.

Day 4 - Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
Geographical Description: Ascending toward Kibo Hut, the landscape shifts to a lunar-like desert plateau, with sparse vegetation and rugged terrain. At approximately 4,700 meters, Kibo Hut provides a stark contrast to the previous lush landscapes and marks the final camp before the summit push.

Day 5 - Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak (summit point) Back to Horombo Hut
Geographical Description: The ultimate challenge commences with the exhilarating ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point of Mount Kilimanjaro at 5,895 meters. The terrain is steep and challenging, comprising scree and rocky paths. The rewarding summit offers breathtaking views and an unparalleled sense of accomplishment before descending back to Horombo Hut.

Day 6 - Horombo Hut to Mandara Hut to Marangu Gate Back to Moshi/Arusha
Geographical Description: Descending from Horombo Hut through varying landscapes, from alpine desert to moorland and lush rainforests, the trail leads back to Marangu Gate. The journey back to Moshi or Arusha allows reflection on the incredible trek, passing through diverse terrains and vegetation once more.
