Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Moshi/Arusha to Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree)
Traversing from Moshi/Arusha to Londorossi Gate marks the official commencement of your trek. The journey encompasses a shift in altitude, reaching Mti Mkubwa camp at an approximate elevation of 2,820 meters. [Geographical Description: Altitude gain noticeable, around 2,820 meters, with a transition from urban to forested landscapes.]
Accommodation: Big Tree (Mti Mkubwa) Campsite
Day 2 - Mti Mkubwa to Shira 2 Camp
Ascending through the rainforest, the path unfolds to panoramic views as Shira 2 Camp at approximately 3,850 meters is reached. The temperature drops, and the vegetation shifts to heathland, offering glimpses of the forthcoming alpine desert.

Day 3 - shira 2 Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
Heading towards Lava Tower, a significant altitude gain is experienced, showcasing unique volcanic formations. Descending to Barranco Camp (3,960 meters), the surroundings become increasingly arid, surrounded by imposing rock formations. [Geographical Description: Ascends to Lava Tower (4,600 meters) before descending to Barranco Camp (3,960 meters). The terrain transitions to alpine desert.]

Day 4 - Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Day 5 - Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
The trek to Barafu Camp at 4,673 meters intensifies as the summit draws near. The vegetation diminishes, revealing the stark beauty of the alpine desert. Barafu is the final stop before the ultimate ascent.

Day 6 - Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak (Summit Point) Back to Barafu Camp then to Mweka Camp
Geographical Description: The summit bid to Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters) commences under freezing temperatures and a lunar-like landscape. Descending back to Barafu Camp and onward to Mweka Camp (3,100 meters) offers a dramatic shift in scenery, with thickening vegetation and milder temperatures

Day 7 - Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate to Moshi
Geographical Description: Descending from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate (1,640 meters) takes us through dense rainforests, experiencing a significant rise in temperature as we complete the journey back to Moshi.
