Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Moshi to Londorossi gate to Big Tree Camp
Depart for Londorossi gate, the starting point of the Northern Circuit Route. Hike through lush rainforests, gradually ascending. Vegetation: Thick, vibrant rainforest. Altitude: 2,100 meters.
Accommodation: Big Tree (Mti Mkubwa) Campsite
Day 2 - Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp
Ascent through Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) to Shira 1 Camp. Witness the transition from rainforest to heathland. Temperature drops slightly. Altitude: 3,500 meters.

Day 3 - Shira 1 Camp to Lava Tower to Moir Hut
Navigate through diverse landscapes, including the iconic Lava Tower. Stunning views of the Shira Plateau. Temperature drops further. Altitude: 4,600 meters.

Day 4 - Moir Hut to Buffalo Camp
Embark on a challenging day, crossing rugged terrains and reaching Buffalo Camp. Experience alpine desert landscapes. Altitude: 4,020 meters.

Day 5 - Buffalo Camp to Third Cave
Descend into the Great Barranco Valley, encountering unique vegetation. Reach Third Cave, surrounded by surreal rock formations. Altitude: 3,870 meters

Day 6 - Third Cave to School Hut
Trek through the lunar-like landscapes of the Saddle. Approach School Hut, a pivotal point before the summit push. Altitude: 4,800 meters.

Day 7 - School Hut to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
Summit day! Conquer Uhuru Peak at sunrise, the highest point in Africa. Descend to Mweka Camp, passing through different zones. Temperature fluctuates. Altitude: 5,895 meters (Uhuru Peak) to 3,100 meters (Mweka Camp).

Day 8 - Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate Back to Moshi/Arusha
Final descent through the lush Mweka rainforest. Reach Mweka Gate, marking the end of an epic journey. Celebrate your achievement in Moshi or Arusha.
