Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Moshi to Londorossi gate to Big Tree Camp
• Geographical Details: Begin the trek at Londorossi gate, entering the rainforest zone. The temperature remains moderate, around 15°C to 20°C. The gate is at an elevation of about 2,100 meters.
Accommodation: Big Tree (Mti Mkubwa) Campsite
Day 2 - Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp
Geographical Details: Transition into the heath and moorland zone. Shira 1 Camp is perched at an elevation of approximately 3,500 meters. Expect temperatures between 10°C and 15°C.

Day 3 - Shira 1 Camp to Lava Tower to Moir Hut
• Geographical Details: Ascend to Lava Tower, experiencing the alpine desert. Moir Hut is located at 4,200 meters, with temperatures ranging from 5°C to 10°C.

Day 4 - Moir Hut to Buffalo Camp
Geographical Details: Traverse to Buffalo Camp, situated in the alpine desert. The camp is at an elevation of about 4,000 meters, with temperatures ranging from 5°C to 10°C.

Day 5 - Buffalo Camp toThird Cave
Geographical Details: Descend into the heath and moorland zone. Third Cave is located at approximately 3,800 meters, with temperatures around 10°C to 15°C.

Day 6 - Third Cave to School Hut
Geographical Details: Climb through the moorland and alpine desert zones. School Hut, a high-altitude camp, sits at around 4,800 meters. Expect temperatures between -5°C and 5°C.

Day 7 - School Hut to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
Geographical Details: Summit Uhuru Peak, the highest point at 5,895 meters. Descend to Mweka Camp, positioned at approximately 3,100 meters. Temperatures range from -10°C to 10°C.
Accommodation: Mweka Campsite
Day 8 - Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate Back to Moshi/Arusha
Geographical Details: Descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate. The gate is situated at around 1,600 meters, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C.
