Day 1 - Moshi/Arusha to Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree)
Distance: Approximately 25km Altitude: Starting point around 2,100 meters Nature & Vegetation: Begin amidst lush greenery and gradually ascend through montane forests, witnessing diverse flora and fauna.
Accommodation: Big Tree (Mti Mkubwa) Campsite
Day 2 - Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp
Distance: About 11km Altitude: Progress to approximately 3,500 meters Geographical Description: Transition into the heath and moorland zones, offering panoramic views of the Shira Plateau.

Day 3 - Shira 1 Camp to Moir Hut
Distance: Around 14km Altitude: Ascend to roughly 4,200 meters Nature & Vegetation: Traverse through rocky paths and alpine desert landscapes, surrounded by unique high-altitude vegetation.

Day 4 - Moir Hut to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
Distance: Approximately 10km Altitude: Ascend to Lava Tower at 4,630 meters before descending to Barranco Camp at around 3,950 meters Geographical Description: Witness the dramatic shift in terrain from alpine desert to the Barranco Valley, known for its striking Senecio trees.

Day 5 - :Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Distance: About 5km Altitude: Ascend to approximately 4,000 meters Nature & Vegetation: Trek through the Barranco Wall and marvel at the captivating sights of the glacial valleys and sparse vegetation.

Day 6 - Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Distance: Roughly 4km Altitude: Climb to 4,600 meters Geographical Description: Enter the arctic zone, experiencing rugged landscapes and preparing for the final ascent to Uhuru Peak.

Day 7 - Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak Back to Barafu Camp to Mweka Camp
Distance: Summiting and descending to Mweka Camp Altitude: Reach the summit at 5,895 meters, descending to approximately 3,100 meters at Mweka Camp Nature & Vegetation: Marvel at the sunrise from the summit, embracing the glaciers and expansive views, then descend through various ecological zones.
Accommodation: Mweka Campsite
Day 8 - Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate Moshi
Complete the trek by descending to Mweka Gate, celebrating the successful journey.
